ABOUT OAK VALLEY

The Town of Oak Valley is located approximately 4 miles west of Corsicana, Texas., and immediately south of the new Hwy 31 Bypass. This bedroom community was incorporated in 1970 as a "General Rule" City with a mayor and five aldermen governing the town.  There are approximately 410 residents living within it's city limits. Most of the residents work in nearby Corsicana, and children attend the Corsicana public schools.  Oak Valley possesses the charm of a quite county living lifestyle but within a few miles to various shops, restaurants, schools, entertainment venues and clinics/hospital.

The Oak Valley Community Center is a 2,400 square foot structure with a full kitchen and banquet  space. Located at 2211 Oak Valley Lane, the building is used for town hall meetings and community events.  The Board of Aldermen recentfly voted to restrict private parties, effective June 1, 2023 while we remodel this building. Our focus going forward is to schedule more community events and  and hopefully create a rural library.

Oak Valley is home to where most Navarro County residents play Pickleball. Membership and Guest fees apply.
